Read MoreAbout This Site
Help1013.com is a mental health education, support, and advocacy platform rooted in lived experience.
Founded by Jeremy Byers following his own 1013 hold in December 2025, this site exists to reduce fear, confusion, and stigma surrounding mental health crises—especially involuntary hospitalization—and to provide practical, compassionate guidance for those affected.
The tone is human, direct, and non-clinical. It emphasizes dignity, survival, and the reality that recovery does not begin or end with a hospital stay.
